Hickory makes spectacular cutting boards. The grain patterns are unique in every board, with a light/dark contrast that's pronounced. My job is to work on finding the pretty.
The wide juice groove is 3/4" across, and 3/8" deep. No too-small grooves here!
The board is 15-5/8" x 21-1/8" x 1-1/2". End grain. Routed finger hold & rubber feet, held on with stainless steel screws. Mineral oil finish, with a topcoat of Mrs M's Board Butter.
